We want to wish you and your family a Merry Christmas and a safe, Happy new year. I'm sure it's going to be hard without your husband Joe, but as you are carrying on, his name will live on in K9 Veterans Rememberance Day!

I was sent this email Nov. 11th. I am so sorry for the loss of Joe White. I heard about a year ago Florida was trying to set up a day of honor for K9's. I would like to get more information as to what I need to do for the state of Indiana. Did you get someone to carry on this website? If you are still taking members I would like to become one. GOD BLESS and Thank youName: Kristy Rayner E-mail: kristy_rayner@yahoo.com City: Aurora State/Province: CO Country: USA Sent: 11/11/2009 01:53:09 pm
Oh my gosh I can't thank you enough for starting such a noble effort! As an enlisted woman I understand ALL who serve deserve to be honored.
The K9s that work so hard for us deserve way more than we can ever give them, but a K9 Veterans day is a good beginning. It will spread awareness of how blessed we are to have the honor and loyalty to serve with these perfect creatures that ask for nothing in return.
Its so sad that many of the K9 angels don't make it home with the servicepeople they worked and died with day in and day out. Such devotion deserves a place of honor in our hearts as well as on our calendar.
THANK YOU!!Name: Marge DeShon E-mail: Mdeshon@montcopa.org City: Collegeville State/Province: PA Country: USA Sent: 11/05/2009 04:34:41 am
I just found about your mission- how wonderful. its about time. As a working Doberman handler, I have studied the history of military K9s, including the Marine "Devil Dogs". Like the US Army and Navy Nurses, these dogs have been the forgotten heros/heroines of WWII. THANK YOu for your efforts to bring recognition to these vital creatures.Name: Eve & Dillon E-mail: doberkidsmom2@msn.com City: Browns Mills State/Province: New Jersey Country: U S A Sent: 11/01/2009 09:59:26 am
Mrs White, what can we do to help? We were able to get K9 Veterans Remberance Day March 13 passed as an proclamation..and will be having a celebration, hopefully next year. I am so sorry for your loss. Joe did a great thing in starting K9 Veterans Rememberance Day.
