I just wanted to say how important it is that we honor all Vietnam Dog Handlers. My dad(Gary Snapp) was a handler in 1967 and he went through the pearly gates of heaven this past February. He will be greatly missed and all his war stories and pictures from Da Nang.He was a great man and missed all of his brothers.I have been desperately trying to find a way that could keep my dad's memories alive and benefit others at the same time.I was wondering if anyone would have any ideas. If so my email address is: bethylou21@yahoo.com
Thank you so much.

I would be honored to make this effort a summer project for myself and my 12 yo son. We will spend one day each week taking petitions to local pet stores and veterinarian offices and then return to collect and send them on to you in packets.

I read your story in the local Beaches Leader and would love to help with the petition drive. My cousin is the aide to a Congresswoman in Broward County so I have forwarded her the link to your website and told her your story and what you are trying to do. don't know if there is anything that can come out of it but it's worth a try.

I am honored to support your noble cause. Never again should the tragedy be repeated of leaving these loyal dogs behind as so many were in Vietnam. Thank you for remembering them when so few others did.
